Wish I could have watched, but UF was on the SEC Network. I did flip over for updates. The commentators mentioned Stanford got inside the USC 20 6 times without coming away with any points. That's a prescription for losing a game.
Congrats to your Trojans for winning a tough road game.

Big play by #58 there in the final minute to force Hogan to fumble.
I thought the game was heading to OT at that point.
Congrats to the men of Troy on a big win.

Boom-sha-ka-la-ka-boom!! USC beats the Trees!!! What the hell was going on w Haden and the refs on the sidelines? That was bizarre. In my picks I said I needed proof that tommy Trojans was ready to fight on, but I didn't mean the a.d. And coaches. Lol. Nice win. Mark Scott Tosu 81

I thought Stanford was dead when they elected to punt from the 29 yard line rather than try a 46 yard field goal.
Our local high school team doesn't punt from the 29. Seriously?!?
What made it worse? Touchback. 9 yard net. Well done.

Yo, Walter, are you o.k.?
Shits happens. Sometimes B.C. wins a big game. Consider Prozac...
Hell, I remember watching the B.C. game where Doug Flutie made that famous TD throw at the buzzer. Can't recall who Flutie and the Eagles beat that day.
Life could be worse. You could be a Buffs fan or a Gators fan. Hell, you know ET is going to be crying in his Gatorade this fall...

OMG!! 4 So Cal defenders wait to intercept that pass rather than knock it down and --- oops. It's why we watch cfb. #10 for USC was just standing flat footed on the goal line oblivious to the asu wr about to cut in front of him. It wasn't even a contested catch. Quite a comeback for the Devils. 3 tds in the last 3:00 of that game. Wow. Mark Scott Tosu 81

Walt, stay away from the razor blades. It's just a football game. So......I'm waiting for a friend to arrive as we're headed out to dinner, and I'm watching the end of the game...USC goes up 2 scores with about 5 minutes plus...The way the D was playing, I'm thinking this one is over. It's 27-18. My friend arrives. I say, "let's go.". She says, "Don't you want to see the end of the game?". I say, "Nah, if they lose it now, I'll be glad I didn't watch. If they win, it'll be watching them just playing out the clock. Let's go." 6 hours later, in a bar getting a nightcap, I look up and see the replay of the hail mary. H-O-L-Y C-R-A-P !! AND, when I turned it off, it was 27-18. How the hell did it end up 38-34 with only 5 minutes left AND ASU had no timeouts? How is that even possible? I'm think I'm going to take up knitting.

Last night seems to be the state of affairs for USC. The come out of the tunnel looking like national championship material and slowly let the games get away or at best, make them into nail-biters.
I have to assume this is a depth issue, because they seem to have oodles of talented players all the way up to one deep. Then the trouble starts.
Cal has a potent offense and got stuffed for about 2.5 quarters. Now begins USC's gauntlet...successive rivalry weeks....UCLA and then Notre Dame to finish the season.
