No problem with a coach leaving his job. Big problem when they break their contract and leave their former school and players high and dry. Short and sweet….do you believe people should honor the contracts they sign? Athletes usually transfer for reasons of playing time. And sometimes it’s because a new coach comes in and gets rid of existing players on the roster. Sometimes it’s for NIL. And sometimes, usually for grad school reasons, it’s for educational purposes. Contracts should be honored by BOTH parties. Since I am not privy to coaches' contracts; they are all different, and they are not regulated by the NCAA, that has nothing to do with this.
What if the coach is killed in a car wreck?
You suck it up and move on with the next guy, buttercup.
Play "what if" all you want to.
NIL and willy-nilly transfers should be outlawed.
If you happen to be stuck on a bad team, you can still arrange for a tryout at a pro combine.
Like a JOB INTERVIEW, you know?
You’re not privy to NIL agreements, either. So, what’s your basis for outlawing them? |

I know I am too old for NIL. How about you? The only "Scholarship" I got was being paid to attend and complete the Police Academy. If I didn't make it, I lost a REAL job ---- an IMPORTANT job.

Pay our cops, firemen, EMT's and soldiers REAL money first!!!

Bryan, the idea that college football is an amateur sport has always been an illusion. At best, it’s semi-pro and at worst, it’s an NFL farm league. The NCAA has consistently found to be in violation of anti-trust laws. Why do you think that is? As for transfers…many fans speak out both sides of their mouth on the issue. We hate it when someone transfers out, and we cheer on those who transfer in. And that’s ok, because all of us have a blind eye when it comes to our own teams.
