Wow! If that kind of crybaby crap is allowed to spread, CFB is ruined.
How do we fix it? If a player quits before 6 games are played, he can transfer to another school the following season. If he quits after 6 games or more are played, he can also transfer the following season, but with the loss of 1 year of eligibility.

Bear Alexander of USC quit the team, though it is unclear to me whether it was over NIL or playing time. He thought he was 'all that', and got beat out of his job in fall practice, so NIL might be an excuse.

And if he were any good, he would simply man up and expect his stellar performances to get him a new NIL deal with someone else.
Money for nothing? Easy come, easy go.

Money for nothing? Easy come, easy go.Not the way it works in college ball today. NIL has been good to the Canes but I still feel that in the long run it will be the death of the game as we know it.

NIL should have been part of the game long time ago. Would have been managed and structured, instead of this anarchy we have today.

Again, been really good for Miami but I miss the game as it was in the 70s

Things have gone downhill ever since under the table cash was winked at and encouraged by college bigwigs
College athletes are supposed to be STUDENT athletes. Period. How many marching band members or field hockey players get NIL deals? Free college education is the only thing they are entitled to.
Next you will say that Arch Manning should have been paid NIL when he was in HIGH SCHOOL. His name is well-known enough to warrant it.

Chief idiot is the NCAA. IMO at least.

And I’ll ask you a simple question….why is a free education the only thing athletes are entitled to?

If the Big 10 & SEC are successful with the Power 2 concept i think they will eventually tell the NCAA to F off.
