TRN is right about one thing, for sure.
Thanks to our 2nd Amendment, which Demonrats want to nullify, all those big bad "assault rifles" in the hands of American civilians would make a formidable opponent for any army wanting to invade our country.  I am NOT saying that those armed citizens could defeat an organized invading army, but fighting them beats sitting back and acting like sheep.
America also has plenty of military-aged veterans who still know how to use OUR weapons of war, and could reinforce our troops on almost a moment's notice.

But don't think you know what's going on in Putin's head.  The Ukraine War is not going to end under Bitem's watch.  He and his cabinet don't have that capability.

Russia & China don't have the capability to move enough army to the US to invade us. The retired Generals you see on news reports say it wouldn't be close. And I have a long held belief that the weapon systems we know about are but the tip of the iceberg compared to what we really have.

We know there could never be a D-Day type invasion here.
An armada large enough to carry invasion troops would be easily detected by the surveillance satellites we have today.  As soon as any of them entered our territorial waters and refused to turn back, the USAF would start having a field day with them.   It wouldn't surprise me to learn that we have land-based Cruise missile batteries that can have GPS coordinates instantly loaded into them, and then once in the vicinity can be visually guided by a remote human operator directly to a specific target.   Or they could follow a laser designator provided y loitering UAV's.

And yes, who knows what other secret weapons we have that we don't know about?
