Daryl, FWIW, Mizzou WAS the best team in the lowly Big XII North for several years in the Gary Pinkel era. But Oklahoma always had their number-- beating them twice in 2007-08 (Mizzou's only losses that year.) They finished the 2007-08 season ranked #4 in the BCS, I believe, after shellacking Arkansas 31-6 in the Cotton Bowl. (These numbers could be slightly off in my memory.) Texas A&M was never a big deal in the Big XII. Even Colorado was 6-3 all-time against the Aggies. IMO, the PAC 12 is the best conference in NCAA Division I football in 2013-- especially if we compare the top seven or eight teams in each major conference. So, by "best conference" do you guys mean the conference with the single best team, or what? For example, how would the #1-8 teams in the Big Ten, SEC, ACC, and Big XII fare against the PAC 12 top eight? (Auburn beat Wazzu 31-24.) Stanford Arizona State USC Oregon Arizona Washington Washington State Utah The SEC is where other conference's dreams come to DIE !! I just made that up  |

Maybe, but let's be honest. Being the best team in the Big 12 North was akin to being the tallest guy at the midget convention. ....or this year the best team in the SECe. LOL. Maybe so... |
