Where as I think that would be pretty cool for the B1G Ten, and increase ALL our bragging rights, don't see it happening, myself. BUT, THAT's why they play the games... congrats to uw... they had the toughest road to indy and got there. on the flip side, msu probably had the easiest route. that said, this has to be izzo's greatest coaching job in his career... i know i didn't expect to see sparty still standing for the final weekend of the season.(TIC)...so I see...

lol. is that my bracket? do i really have all 4 teams right? seriously, i lucked out there. btw, dale, you've got to be in the top 10 globally... congrats. that is impressive. looks like we still have some intrigue in our little 5 man game. i think i have it if uk wins out... you have it if duke wins, onion reporter (daleko?) gets the prize if the badgers come thru.

Two kids cursed with that last name? Painful. Well let's hope the 'e'-less funderburk takes the name up a notch or two above Lawrence, and he wasn't bad at all.

Izzo didnt have the horses tonight vs Duke and didnt get any help with the refs....When a Duke player tripped over himself and a foul was called against MSU__I knew then it was going to be an uphill battle as Duke shot 37 free throws for the game...

osu announced its non conference schedule for '15-'16.
11/15 mt st. mary's 11/17 grambling 11/20 texas-arlington 11/24 louisiana tech 11/27 memphis (in miami, fl) 12/1 virginia (big 10/acc challenge) 12/5 vmi 12/8 air force 12/12 at uconn 12/16 n. illinois 12/19 kentucky (brooklyn, ny) 12/22 mercer 12/27 s. carolina st.
there are the normal amount of dog ooc games here, but also a couple more high profile games than in the recent past. memphis, uva, uconn and uk will be a nice measuring stick for matta's teram, which is going to be incredibly young; 2 juniors, 4 sophs and the rest freshmen by my count.

I'm not sure I'm ready for FOOTBALL talk yet, let alone BB... been a rough year.

hoops news... thad matta got a couple commits for next year this week. both are front line players. derek funderburk (no relation to lawrence funderburke) is a 6'9 4 who played at lakewood st ed's before transferring to a prep school down in va this year. micah potter is a 6'9 5 who is at a prep school in fla, but a guy i saw play a couple times when he played at mentor, also up near cleveland. matta is also still chasing a big time guard, kobi simmons, a guy uk and unlv are also recruiting, for the '16-'17 class. doesn't seem possible, but the regular season kicks off sunday at the schott vs mount st mary's. and if you're going, there'll be a change for the home games this season. beer and wine sales on all levels in the arena instead of just on the club level. this is for both basketball and hockey games. so along with your $25 ticket you can now enjoy an $8 16 oz bud light.

I'm looking forward to seeing the makeup of this years squad, game is on at noon___no beer for me today, just nachos and salsa with a diet pepsi

Loving is a junior and he's the only upper classman. I've heard good things about Lyle. I think Williams and bates-diop are poised to have break out years. How much production can we get from the bigs like Thompson?
