just got home from oncologist office..........stating 2 months. film showed the progress of the disease, but actually would need to run a bone scan to see how much is in my bones and joints. Keytruda is an option to attempt an extra couple of months, but the side effects are such that the extra time is spent in the hospital trying to slow, stop. the side effects. I have a liver disease, and one side effect is hepatitis, and other organ failure. wife and i will have some extended talks today/tomorrow but it's looking like i check out of here in a couple of months tops.

Deepest thoughts and prayers for you and your family. much appreciated........I go in for some palliative radiation treatments this week, and then next week we set up hospice. Still getting around on my own for now. however, with dedications and such coming up later this year..........the family is doing well

It's lung cancer. Interesting twist: May have spread from skin cancers, of which I have had probably a dozen cut off in the past 30 years. So it may be that sun damage because of love of the ocean and surfing is the thing that kills me. Who knew? Anyway, meeting with Onco-guy today and radiation guy Weds. Keep fighting and keep us posted___prayers to you.

Positive Karma to both Marc and Walt.
My wife is having her right breast removed when we return from a two week vaca, after finding a T1 cell. That'll match her left, which was done 7 yrs ago. Could have done a partial but she/we decided to be done w it. Good news is no chemo, radiation or post surgery meds. Biggest problem was setting up an appt w the reconstruction MD and coordinating w her doctor. The guy is busy, busy.

After calibration and tattoo, I start 3 weeks of radiation sometime next week after a PET scan on Sunday...followed by Chemo. The bitch is that the radiation joint is up in Hollywood, which will require me to fight insufferable traffic into town every day. It's a tossup which I dread more, the radiation or the traffic.
