What a pile of horse crap. The truth is that the few gun control half-measures that exist in the U.S. have been completely inadequate to prevent our epidemic of mass shootings-- 309 in 2022! There are too many loopholes, and lax law enforcement. And the NRA-funded Republicon Party is responsible for systematically sabotaging effective gun control measures that have worked in other countries to reduce mass shootings, and gun homicides, in general. Yeah right, because the Republican Party has so much sway in Illinois. Newsflash. Uncle Clarence Thomas and the NRA-funded SCROTUS just blocked gun control by a state legislature (in NY.) And, in any case, Chicago's guns are trucked in from Indiana. |

It is not "gun nuts" who are murdering other Americans. It is out of control CRIMINALS.
"Gun nuts" are the same as "car nuts," "motorcycle nuts," "fishing nuts," or any other "nuts." We are law abiding citizens who enjoy our hobbies and our collections.
This is America. We don't punish the majority for the bad acts of a small minority.
FWIW, #2 on PyschoTheRapist's list is a PURE LIE. 2A says we have the right to keep and bear ARMS. Nowhere is the type of arm specified or limited. Bladed weapons are arms, too.
