High percentage of Florida kids on both teams so it shouldn't matter that much. We should be in the low 80's at night with maybe 65 to 70% humidity.

2019 Post Spring Depth Chart: 247sports.com/college/florida/LongFormArticle/Florida-Gators-Football-Breaking-down-UFs-depth-chart-after-spring-ball-131215049/#131215049_2My only concern coming out of spring is the inexperience and lack of depth of the OL. Other than that, like it isn't a big deal, the Gators are loaded. The coaches have to get 8 guys ready to go to battle up to SEC standards prior to the start of the 2019 season. A solid 2 deep would be so much better. The OL post spring: Left Tackle Stone Forsythe Richard Gouraige Left Guard Brett Heggie Ethan White Center Nick Buchanan Tanner Rowell OR Kingsley Eguakun Right Guard Chris Bleich T.J. Moore William Harrod Right Tackle Jean Delance Michael Tarquin Overview: The starting five was consistent throughout spring practice, with the only real change in the second unit being that Kingsley Eguakun was taking more snaps at center than Tanner Rowell by the end of spring. Of note, Griffin McDowell is not included here after missing all of spring practice due to injury following a scooter accident.

Pat Dooley is non-committal for the 2019 season:
"I think Florida has enough talent (and I am a big fan of this coaching staff) that the Gators could go 11-1. I think their first 22 could compete with almost any team in America. They also could go 7-5 if the breaks go against them."
I take it breaks means injuries as the Gators are shy in depth on the OL. UF can only go as far as the OL allows them to go. Once the Gators get past the top 6 OL the experience level drops off.
Barring too many injuries, I agree with the 11 wins tops, but disagree with the 7 wins bottom. I'm thinking 9 to 11, say 10 regular season wins.

Game 3: Florida 29 Kentucky 21 Florida 3-0 (1-0) www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/florida-gators/os-sp-gators-kentucky-0915-20190915-w36a7bc6qbardhpu5dirs2fzei-story.htmlFlorida has now won 32 of the last 33 games after having the 31 game win streak snapped by the Wildcats in Gainesville in 2018. Short Video highlights: 15 minute video highlights: Florida ran that last score jet sweep with Percy Harvin in 06/07/08, but I think it is more a play lifted out of the Les Miles playbook. Much thanks to The Hat. Florida ran the identical play with Kadarius Toney against Michigan in the 2018 Chick Fil A New Years Day 41-15 bowl game win. Feleipe Franks was bent over backwards dislocating and breaking his ankle in the 3rd quarter with the Gators down 21-10. Franks is lost for the season which is a tough blow, but Florida has two very good and capable QBs behind Franks on the depth chart. Kyle Trask, a career high school and college backup, came on to lead the Gators to 19 unanswered points in the 4th quarter. He showed he will be capable of leading the Gators as the season progresses. However, Dan Mullen said after the game that he intends to play both Trask and Emory Jones for the rest of the season. Jones has terrific potential, but he is only now going to get the game reps to show it as a redshirt freshman. His talent is off the charts, but he needs game rep experience. He is an injury to Trask away from being the only QB available on the UF roster. Kadarius Toney played QB in high school, but he is out a for about 5 more weeks with an injured shoulder. He is a below average passer, but he is dynamite with the ball in his hands and he can distribute the ball to the RBs. My hats off to Kentucky. Mark Stoops has a darn fine team. The Wildcats dominated both sides of the LOS. JMHO, the Wildcats are as good in the trenches as anybody in the nation, including Alabama and Clemson. Anybody who thinks last years 10-3 record was a fluke and that Kentucky is an easy out will be in for an unpleasant surprise. It wouldn't surprise me to see Kentucky go into Starkvegas next weekend and come out with an interdivision win for the East.

Florida remained 8 in the Coaches and 9 in the AP. In a low blow move, the AP moved Wisconsin over Florida. They tried to put Notre Dame in front of Florida to boot: www.espn.com/college-football/rankingsThe Gators should be #8 in both polls. From now until November 2, Florida plays 7 Auburn, at 4/5 LSU, at South Carolina, and 3 Georgia in Jax. There will plenty of games to grade and adjust the Gators. This was not the week with the Gators tying the largest Florida winning margin in series history against Tennessee, 34-3. The previous high was 1994 when the Gators went to Knoxville and came home a 31-0 winner. Florida has an improving OL/offense, and excellent top 10 team in scoring defense with developing depth, and excellent special teams. Anyone who thinks these Gators will be a push over at any time this season is sadly mistaken.

Florida beat top 10 FCS ranked Towson 38-0 to raise its record to 5-0 (2-0): floridagators.com/news/2019/9/28/football-gators-good-enough-for-these-tigers-not-the-next.aspxTowson QB Tom Flacco, Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco's little brother, is quite the athlete. The kid has played both college baseball and college football. He is a terrific QB. At 6'1"/210 and being a dual threat QB, he probably isn't NFL material, but he is dang good just the same. He was an excellent tuneup for Auburn's Bo Nix next weekend. UF played with 4 defensive players out and still put up the shutout. All 4 defensive players rested for various injuries will be back next weekend. With shutouts of Tennessee Martin and Towson, UF now has two shutouts in a season for the first time since 2012. However, keep in mind that both shutouts came against FCS programs. Next Up: Auburn in The Swamp next weekend. ESPN GameDay will be in Gainesville. ESPN being in Gainesville is unusual as they will be promoting a game that is being televised by CBS at 3:30 PM EDT.

Score reversal long time in coming: www.nytimes.com/1968/11/03/archives/auburn-conquers-florida-24-to-13.htmlIn 1968, Auburn visited Florida and came away with a 24-13 win. Florida opened the scoring by scoring twice to take a 10-0 lead. I remember that Ray Graves started inexplicably substituting in the 2nd quarter. Auburn took the momentum and outscored Florida 24-3 to put away the Gators. I was 15 years old in 1968, but I listened to the game on Gator radio with long-time announcer Otis Bogg. 1968 was also the year Florida suffered the biggest loss since 1942, both to Georgia. On a rainy day in Jax, the poodles dominated the Gators winning 51-0. The despicable Vince Dooley kicked a FG late in the 4th quarter for the final victory margin. To this day, I believe Florida can't beat Georgia often enough or by too much. I found the home and home in the mid 90s when Jax was being renovated to be exhilarating with the Gators punk slapping the poodles both years. I also listened to the Air Force at Florida game, a 23-20 Gator win. The Gators ended the season unranked at 6-3-1, but started the season ranked 5th. I remember the Air Force coach sayin that if Florida is 5th in the nation that Air Force was 6th in the nation. I don't recall how Air Force finished up, but Florida was clearly not a top 10 team in 1968.
