Looks like Little Prince Urban is bringing in more woman beaters. Stay classy, Urban.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------r. The only problem with your statement is that Meyer didn't recruit Hyde. So I don't know how Meyer brought in another woman beater. Hyde was already here. 2nd. Meyer has already thrown him off the team.

Hyde is good, probably the best back in the conference, but he can be replaced. Roby, on the other hand, would be an enormous loss. Let's just hope the person he hit wasn't a female or he will be dismissed as well. The one thing Meyer doesn't tolerate is violence against women... just ask Carlos Hyde.

Hyde has been suspended indefinitely, not dismissed as was earlier reported. In addition, two other Buckeyes are facing legal problems following arrests:
Meanwhile, true freshman tight end Marcus Baugh has been suspended from all team activities, stripped of offseason aid and will miss the first game of the season on Aug. 31 for his arrest for underage possession of alcohol and possessing fake identification.
Fellow freshman Tim Gardner has been sent home and won't be part of the program this season following the offensive lineman's arrest on Saturday for obstruction of official business.
Other than actually taking punitive action in a relatively quick manner, it doesn't look like Meyer's spots have changed all that much. At this rate, we could challenge the 31 arrests he had under his watch at Florida in no time...

Marc, we don't agree on much but this is one thing we definitely agree on.

So Michael has finally became a Miami Hurricane fan..........what's next, you gonna bitch about "the call"? I have always said it was a bad call, but I have always said it was a make up call. In Ohio St's last drive on 3rd and 5, Not only did Gamble make a 1st down catch, he was held and held very clearly. Even Fouts on the play by play said "Wow, defensive holding there, that should've been called". That would've gave Ohio State an automatic 1st down, clock would've ran out, game over without OT required. I'm a Buckeye fan, always have been, always will be.

I'm a Buckeye fan, always have been, always will be. So then get on board, and care about the types of players we have and the coaches we have. Your statements were you really don't care what "team or coach" it is as long as the "team" you root for wins. In other words.....from this Alum.........OSU isn't about you or your desires.

I'm not an alum. I'm a fan. Ohio St winning makes me happy. The 3rd string kicker getting a 4.0GPA doesn't, I mean, good for him, but how does that help the football team? I can't tell Kaz to shove it saying our grades our higher than Michigan's team. But Ohio St winning 42-7 on the football field, I can. I think Meyer is a great coach. Most do. Evan loves Meyer.

I want meyer to continue that trend. this week has not been a good one from an off the field standpoint, but i'll withhold a ruling on meyer til all his team are his recruits. i'm current in central pa for meetings, seeking out ihs's birthplace and making a contribution to rebuild joepa's statue (I believe it was a year ago today it came down), but I saw hunter's dispatch column on line and thought it was interesting... buckeyextra.dispatch.com/content/stories/2013/07/23/message-not-resonating-with-some-osu-players.htmlmark scott tosu 81

Among the Alums that is.

Is it more yours than mine? yeah, I didn't go to school there, but it doesn't mean I don't have pride in Ohio State and root for them with all my heart and soul. I have a Ohio State tattoo on my leg, my wallet is Ohio State, my checking account is at Huntington simply for the reason that I can get Ohio State checks and debit cards there. My wedding last summer was Ohio State themed. The sand ceremony during my wedding was red and gray sand poured out of 2 Ohio State shot glasses into a bigger Ohio State glass. Our cake was Ohio State, our card box, guess what, Ohio State. I love Ohio State. However, in this day and age people around the world could care less how many academic all americans you have. Their first and only question, How many NCs you win? Now, I wouldn't want to turn into the Miami Huirrcanes of the early 90s, but that is not whats happening. You guys are acting like 1 bad kid or even 1 good kid who makes 1 mistake can take down the entire program.

I think Meyer is a great coach. Most do. Evan loves Meyer. I think Meyer is an outstanding football coach, too. I admire his ability to motivate his teams and I like the style of play he implements. But that doesn't mean he is any less of a lying asshole as a person. And by "most" I assume you are referring to Ohio State fans? If so, I would ask you to rewind back to 2009 and take a poll of Gators fans and their opinions of the man. Then take another poll of those same fans now. Wins cure everything but when things turn ugly, opinions change and I suspect you will see an awful lot of opinions changing in the Columbus area if my prediction of an impending demise of our program comes true in a couple of years. As for Evan... smart guy and one I wish would post here but really, who cares what he likes if he isn't here to share it? Stop name dropping.
