But I'll do this....I'll go $25 to the winner's favorite charity, and I'll take Oregon -6 1/2. If you win, I can donate to the BaM's Master's Degree Repayment Fund if you wish. I don't do Paypal though, not sure how we'd work out that detail....

fwiw i do see miller as being more talented than both j.t. and cardale. here's why... 1. there is no 'probably' re miller being the better runner than the other two. hands down. much more versatile, incredible moves in the open field, and can turn broken plays into big plays. barrett really surprised me this year w/his production on the ground, and jones is a load to bring down. both have been very good. but not close to braxton, and that's magnified even more because... 2. miller never, in his 3 yrs as a starter, had the plethora of receiving options that j.t. and now cardale have had. not even close. in '11 no receiver had more than 14 catches. even for a team that was iffy offensively that is, uh, offensive. in '12 philly brown (60 rec) and devin smith (30) stepped up, but we still only had 2,100 yds passing as a team for the season (rushing for 2900+). last yr, braxton was hurt and missed 3 games but still threw for 2100 himself w/brown (63) and smith (44) improving their numbers, but in the big games they were physically challenged to fight for balls vs good teams. plus the team rushed for 4300 yards. our wr's/te's this year have performed the best of any group in the last decade. 3400+ passing. miller has been injury prone, and that's an issue. and as a qb, it's been a learning process being able to change speed/styles based what a pass play dictates. but he has a rocket arm, incredible escapability skills and still tremendous upside. no offense to barrett or jones, who both have been incredible, but i still think braxton would ultimately win a competition between the 3 next year should it work out that way. i know others feel differently. Miller is the best runner, Jones is the best passer, Barrett reads the defense better. The receivers showed up because the ball was where it was supposed to be. Guitton proved that point last year. before the shoulder injuries, i'd take miller's arm over jones. question now is how will it respond after surgery. barrett's development seeing the field this year has been extraordinary, much faster than braxton picked it up, that's for sure.

fwiw...... I have heard from several people, within the organization, that he is comong back....don't know if I believe that and will wait until the actual day passes by. Could be he is just toying with the media:
Sources: Jameis Winston 'seriously considering' return to Florida State
.
Rand Getlin By Rand Getlin 1 hour ago
Florida State QB Jameis Winston is "seriously considering" staying in school, according to multiple sources close to the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner.
Winston hasn’t made any formal declarations, and there are no indications that he has made a concrete decision, but his camp has taken material steps to pave the way for the talented redshirt sophomore to return for at least one more season in Tallahassee, should he ultimately decide to do so, according to one well-placed source.
According to multiple reports, Winston will make his decision sometime after the College Football Playoff national championship on Monday.
The deadline for underclassmen to declare is Jan. 15.
Winston suffered the first loss of his collegiate career in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day. The Bessemer, Ala., native is now 26-1 as a starter after the Seminoles lost 59-20 to the Oregon Ducks in a College Football Playoff semifinal game.
Winston led Florida State to a national championship last season and has thrown for nearly 8,000 yards and 65 touchdowns in his two years as a starter.

Reported this morning that Winston is leaving for the NFL. I can't say that I'm surprised. I wish him luck with whatever team gets him.

Reported this morning that Winston is leaving for the NFL. I can't say that I'm surprised. I wish him luck with whatever team gets him. If he's a projected 1st rounder, he should go. I'd be really surprised if FSU didn't tell him to go. ESPN makes it sound like Fameis Jameis' father told him to go since he's a first rounder. It seems to me that Fameis Jameis wants to stay in college another year, but he is being given the good advice to go pro.

Just saw that Aguayo is coming back next year. Kid is arguably the greatest kicker in FSU history, with only Janikowski in the conversation. Good to have him back, and it transitions nicely to his brother, who is also a kicker, coming in for 2016.
