And now we are tied for first. Did any of y'all see the video last week of Salvy playing wiffle ball with a bunch of neighborhood kids in KC? He had gone on a day off to visit a friend, saw a bunch of kids playing wiffle ball in a yard and stopped and asked to play with them. A mom saw it and took video of them. He really is just a big kid. he's been a key on the field and w/his approach in the clubhouse. from a cleveland standpoint, today's game isn't a must mathematically but imho it sure is psychologically. Either way we leave town in a better position than we were coming in. I'd love to leave in sole possession of first.

Massey has been a nice plus for KC. Haven't had double digit homers since the Frank White days. It's looking like Witt, Pasquatch and Salvy will all be 100 rbi guys with over 20 dingers.

When the rosters expand, they need to bring back McKenzie and Straw.no doubt that more arms are needed and you hope mckenzie is a little healthier now and can get his fastball back up to what it was 2 yrs ago. straw? defensively he's miles (haha. miles..) ahead of thomas or any of the others rotating in center field. at the plate? thomas is hitting about what straw averaged in his couple years as a starter. schneeman has had a nice 10 days at the plate recently... brennan, freeman and fry (if healthy) all add more potential pop w/the bat. maybe straw can give kwan a couple needed off days since he's batting just .200 or so since the all-star break?

I definitely think that kc is now a favorite to win the division though.

Going to be a sprint to the finish line.

Guards up 4 games in the division with yesterdays win over KC.__didnt think they were ever going to hit Wacha until breaking thru with Lanes' homer in the 5th. KC still leads the head-to-head 6-4 but they got to get out off this 6 game losing skid
